Solus - Layered brass improvisation. Recorded on Bb and C trumpets and flugelhorn by Brandon Rizzo.
Lilex - A sample from a melody that occurs in the flugelhorn part in Solus. Gabe Patti improvises on tenor saxophone.
Neoptolemos - A study in sampling and improvisation. A drum sample of a Max Roach solo and very short Charles Mingus bass looped sample with recorded improvisations of trumpet (Rizzo) and saxophone (Patti). The drums and the bass give the improvisor multiple rhythmic foundations to choose from.
Talos - An improvised duet of trumpet (Rizzo) and saxophone (Patti).
